ELIZABETH [TANNER] EPPERSON and children are living with her father WILEY F. TANNER ---- she appears to be a widow.

4- CATHERINE EPPERSON [B-1842 Perry Co., TN; D- ] married [unknown] TANNER. *Note: 1880 Perry Co., TN census living with brother John Epperson [wife Louisa]; she appears to be a widow at age 38.

5- MARTHA EPPERSON [B-1843 Perry Co., TN; D- ] *No further data...... not to be confused with Martha C. Epperson the daughter of John Epperson and Louisa [Strickland] Barnett.

1870 Perry Co., TN census shows ELIZABETH [TANNER] EPPERSON [B-1819/20] living with her son JOHN EPPERSON [B-1836]. John Epperson is single.

1880 Perry Co., TN census ---- ELIZABETH [TANNER] EPPERSON is not on the census. Her son JOHN EPPERSON is married to LOUISA [STRICKLAND] BARNETT and have children. From the date of birth of their first child, it appears they married @1871.

In 1910 JOHN EPPERSON is living with his daughter MARTHA C. [EPPERSON] BEARD. Martha is the second wife of Dr. JAMES BEARD.

In 1850 Perry County, TN Census *Elizabeth [Tanner] Epperson appears to be widow who has gone home to be with her father and siblings.

1860 Perry County, TN Census ----Elizabeth [Tanner] Epperson is still living with her father Wiley F. Tanner.

1870 Perry Co., TN Census [District 3] Elizabeth [Tanner] Epperson is living with her son John Epperson[ b 1837, TN]

In 1880 Elizabeth [Tanner] Epperson does not show up.
